After a bad slump week I had to do something to get back on track. My goal was to start up a training plan that would allow me to get mostly through it in time for the NJ State Triathlon in July. There was a pretty good looking plan published in the April 2013 issue of Triathlete magazine which I decided to start up. I succesfully got the ball rolling with training on that plan. Although it’s Easter weekend and today’s workout didn’t happen. Tomorrow I might not get the chance to do the scheduled swim because I’m not sure my YMCA is open. That aside, I did manage to successfully start the training plan and I did in fact do one workout of each discipline so I guess it’s not all too bad.
